What an amazing month it has been for the XR community.

We’ve seen new introductions of VR and AR wearables, software platform updates by both Unity and Unreal, and of course the doubling down in this space by Facebook with their rebranding as Meta to emphasize their belief that the oft-described metaverse is the core of their business.

In the following video, let’s take a quick look at some of these new devices and how they are pushing the whole VR industry forward.

Pagoni VR had the good fortune to meet up (IRL !) with a number of our XR colleagues at AWE 2021.

Held this year after a one year hiatus due to COVID concerns, the Augment World Expo brought experts in XR from around the world together to share ideas and to show off their wares.

Check out the video below for some highlights of the show floor.

“The immersive VR glasses made for wellness and mindful productivity. Company and lightweight, the VIVE Flow goes where you go.”

Pico Neo 3 Pro

“Starting with the powerful Qualcomm XR2 processor, 6GB Ram (Neo 3 Pro) or 8GB Ram (Neo 3 Pro Eye), 256GB onboard storage and featuring a 3664 x 1920 LCD screen with a PPI of 773 and up to 90Hz refresh rate, these new heatsets are both lighted and more compact than our previous 6DoF headsets.”

Pimax Artisan

“Pimax Artisan 170┬░FOV, nearly reaching to the ends of human horizontal pheripheral vision, gives you immersively wide view and maximum visual clarity without introducing eye-strain or edge distortion.”
